Junior Golf at Bear Mountain Ranch

Each year we bring the PGA Jr. League experience to the course with five weeks of instructions and matches for junior golfers.  This is a program that fills quickly and is loved by our junior golfers.   It runs from mid June through mid July.   Our 2022 PGA Jr. League is open for registration.   

The PGA Jr. League will run from Tuesday, June 21st through Thursday, July 21st.

There will be four practices this season, each at Desert Canyon Golf Resort. These practices will be held Tuesday and Thursday, June 21st - 30th from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm 

The final three weeks of the program are team tournament play running from July 5th to July 21st.  We have the incredible luxury of use of three courses in the area.  Matches will rotate between Desert Canyon Golf Resort, Bear Mountain Ranch, and Alta Lake Golf Resort.  We will play each course twice.  Matches will also occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm.  

A little about golf experience…

This program is not an introduction to golf.  In a group format, it just isn’t possible for us to teach a junior to play within the time frame of four 1-hour practices.  This is an ideal program for juniors who have played some golf.  If your child understands the general rules, can make contact with the ball consistently, and has experience practicing chipping and putting then they will enjoy this program.

Any juniors who played last year are capable of returning.  If you are new to the program and are thinking about this for your child but are not certain of their ability, please reach out to Heather: heatherneff@pga.com. We are more than happy to offer resources to get your child up to speed by June or suggest alternatives to learning to golf.
